Children

Children are important at Chesterfield Baptist Church! Many opportunities are provided for children to learn about God and to grow in their faith.

SUNDAY Sundays are SPECIAL with Bible Study (Sunday School) and Worship.  Sunday school begins each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and Worship begins at 11:00 a.m.   WEDNESDAY Wednesdays are WONDERFUL and jam packed for families! 5:45 pm - Kids' Choir meets and all children are invited to come and sing with Mrs. Helen until 6:30.   6:30 p.m. - the church gathers for a mid-week covered dish fellowship dinner in the fellowship hall.  7:00 p.m. - children in grades 1 - 6 participate in Growth Activities                                               Growth Activities Wednesday nights 7-8 p.m. Wednesday night supper:  6:30- 7 p.m.        CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE! If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn. If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight. If a child lives with fear, he learns to be apprehensive. If a child lives with pity, he learns to be sorry for himself. If a child lives with encouragement, he learns to be confident. If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient. If a child lives with praise, he learns to love. If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself. If a child lives with recognition, he learns to have a goal. If a child lives with fairness, he learns what justice is. If a child lives with honesty, he learns what truth is. If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith in himself.
