Missions:
Missions is: "Crossing barriers with the love and light of Jesus Christ."
Mission Groups:
Women's Missionary Union (wMu): A ladies group that meet monthly for mission education and Bible study. wMu also promotes and carries out mission projects throughout the year.
Baptist Men (Brotherhood): A men's group that meets monthly for breakfast, fellowship, prayer and to plan and carry out local and international mission projects.
The Youth Group (S.W.A.T. Students with a Testimony): Sponsor a Food Pantry that makes free non-perishable food items available to the hungry. The group takes an annual mission trip.
Church-wide Missions:
Angel Food Ministies: This is a mission/ministry makes food/grocery relief available to persons and/or families at a discounted price each month. The food is top quality and cost $30.00 per box. (Approximately $75.00 - $80.00 retail). Anyone qualifies. Contact the church office for more information or to find out how to place an order. Operation Christmas Child: This mission project is done in partnership with Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse Organization. Through this mission project we share the love of Jesus with children throughout the world through shoeboxes filled with everyday items such as combs, socks, tooth brushes, stuffed animal, ect.
Giving to Missions: Through giving money we are a part of mission work throughout Chesterfield County, South Carolina, North America and the world. The money we give helps both CBF and SBC missionaries do missions.
