Missions:
Missions is: "Crossing barriers with the love and light of Jesus Christ."
Mission Groups:
Women's Missionary Union (wMu): Two lady's groups meet monthly for mission education and Bible study. wMu also promotes and carries out mission projects throughout the year.
Baptist Men (Brotherhood): Is a men's group that meets monthly for breakfast, fellowship, prayer and to plan and carry out local and international mission projects.
The Youth Group (S.W.A.T. Students with a Testimony): Sponsor a Food Pantry that makes free non-perishable food items available to the hungry. The group takes an annual mission trip.
Church-wide Missions:
Operation Christmas Child: This mission project is done in partnership with Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse Organization. Through this mission project we share the love of Jesus with children throughout the world through shoeboxes filled with everyday items such as combs, socks, tooth brushes, stuffed animal, ect.
Giving to Missions: Through giving money we are a part of mission work throughout Chesterfield County, South Carolina, North America and the world. The money we give helps both CBF and SBC missionaries do missions.
Chesterfield Food Pantry: Due to the generous donations of our church family, other congregations, individuals and other organizations we are able to do local missions in terms of meeting basic physical needs of individuals and families by making groceries available to those in need.
